Dust Settled!The Rockets Extended Clint Capela's Contract With $90 Million Over Five Years

ESPN's Woj reports the rockets have renewed Clint Capela for $90 million over five years.Rocket officials later officially announced the news, and capella confirmed her presence on social media.


Clint Capela, the no. 25 rookie of 2014, is a restricted free agent who averaged 13.9 points, 10.8 rebounds, 1.9 blocked shots, 65.2 percent from the field last season and the second-most advanced player.According to earlier reports, capella had rejected the rockets' $85 million bid for five years and wanted a $100 million deal for four years.


The rockets extended Chris Paul's contract for $160 million over four years and are expected to sign carmelo Anthony at a base salary.
